E-commerce & Custom Builder
The Print Story
A custom e-commerce storefront with an interactive photo-layout builder, letting customers design and order personalised photo magazines, diaries, polaroids and albums.
Challenge
Selling personalised print means the customer has to see their own photos in the finished layout before they will commit. Off-the-shelf storefronts could not do that, so the editor had to be built.
Outcome
A storefront with custom photo uploads, an interactive layout preview and instant cart updates. The business has since shipped 700+ orders across India at a 4.9 customer rating.
Restaurant — speculative site
The Royal Ember
A speculative site for a fine-dining restaurant, exploring how ambience, menu clarity and reservations can share one page without crowding each other.
Challenge
Restaurant sites usually optimise for one of atmosphere or utility and lose the other. The question was whether a single layout could carry mood photography and still make booking a table the obvious next action.
Outcome
A layout that leads with atmosphere, keeps the menu one scroll away, and holds the reservation call to action persistently without it becoming visual noise.
Local business — speculative landing page
Artisan Bakery
A speculative single-page site for a neighbourhood bakery, built around the idea that a small local business needs one fast page rather than a full site.
Challenge
Local food businesses are usually discovered on a phone, mid-errand. The page has to answer what, where, when and how much before the visitor loses patience.
Outcome
A mobile-first page that puts the product range, location and ordering path above the fold, with no navigation to get lost in.
Streetwear — speculative store
Urban Threads
A speculative e-commerce concept for a streetwear label — product grids, lookbook galleries and a deliberately short checkout.
Challenge
Fashion browsing is editorial; fashion buying is transactional. The concept explores how to move between those two modes without the visitor feeling handed off to a different site.
Outcome
A store where the lookbook and the product grid share a visual language, so moving from browsing to buying is a change of density rather than a change of place.
B2B SaaS — speculative identity
NovaMark
A speculative brand identity for a B2B SaaS company — logo, colour system, typography and the rules that hold them together.
Challenge
Enterprise buyers read visual restraint as competence. The exercise was building an identity that signals trust without becoming another indistinguishable blue wordmark.
Outcome
A mark and system with enough character to be recognised, and enough discipline to survive being applied by people who are not designers.
Health bar — speculative social system
Zest & Co.
A speculative social creative system for a juice and health bar — post templates, stories, highlights and ad formats.
Challenge
Small brands post inconsistently because every post is a fresh design decision. The concept treats that as a systems problem rather than a discipline problem.
Outcome
A template set constrained enough that anyone can publish on-brand at speed, without a designer in the loop for routine posts.
Fintech — speculative dashboard
Meridian UI
A speculative fintech dashboard — component system, data visualisation and interface patterns for dense financial data.
Challenge
Data-heavy interfaces fail by showing everything at once. The exercise was deciding what earns a place on first load and what waits until asked for.
Outcome
A dashboard with a clear primary read, secondary detail behind interaction, and a component set that stays legible as the data grows.
